For many years to prevent devastation of our brassicas by the local large population of wood pigeons I and others on my site have used scaffolders debris netting  supported by hoops to cover them. Its supposed to stop butterflies getting in but I am more sceptical about the latter. Problem is though I think it blocks off a fair amount of light. Does anyone use an alternative?

Good morning all,
I went to my plot yesterday and noticed my early potato's have suffered frost damage and the leaves are are burnt. I must of missed the forecast for frost and I'm wondering if the plants will recover. They are on open ground and I see that some have been frosted on pots so I am fingers crossed that mine will recover. Any advice would be most welcome. I am annoyed with my error and missing the forecast. Thanks to all in advance.

Just a quick question please.
I have a pot that is bursting with narcissus bulbs.
They were kept in a hot old peoples home until they finished flowering.
I've got them at home now. Wondering, if to store them indoors until autumn for planting outside or plant them outside now?
Sorry for many years of absence on here. My life has been ridiculous!
