Does anyone know if he is ill or whether he just still has bad stagefright? we went to see him a couple of weeks ago and it was the most amazing concert i have ever been to, just indescribable...
but he shuffled around and sat behind a keyboard he didn't play. i'm listening to his live album from a couple of years ago and he seemed a lot more lively then, said a lot more.
just wondering if anyone out there is a fan really and has any idea about this?

If I'm not mistaken, I believe he had a stroke several years ago?

So you young woman! Does "Good Vibrations" ring a bell. "Surfing USA" "Sloop JohnB", "Lady Lynda", "God only knows", I could go on.
The Beach Boys
- shame on you! ;D
Also heard he had had a stroke, but that also years on drink and drugs had taken their toll. Busy_lizzie

oh of course... and I'm practically old enough to have known that! Mind you, a Beach Boy should have a name like Luke, Kai or Jack - my dad's called Bryan and he's hardly the epitome of cool - and wasn't in the Beach Boy's day given the photographic evidence available. However, he's 71 and just taken himself off for a new haircut (without consulting she who must be obeyed) - that involves gelling hair in a spiky upwards way - so perhaps he's having a late rush on the cool front! (He looks, sounds and acts like Richard Briars in the Good Life so you can imagine - I can't wait to see this cut!)
