Dear Agony Aunt
« on: January 08, 2007, 16:03:13 »
Don't laugh, but 6 weeks ago I banged my head on a metal door handle. It hurt a bit....! and there was quite a lot of blood around the place. I sort of bandaged it up and waited for nature to do the rest; However, where it scabbed over, I started to comb out quite a bit of hair. Now, although it's healed up, I'm constantly picking off bits of soft skin along with hair.
My question is Dear Agony Aunt, should I accept that at age 62 I should be preparing myself for a sun-tan on top or should I contemplate loosing not only my hair but some of my hard earned cash on a hair-piece.
Please advise.

I am the wrong sex to be an Auntie but will Uncle Festus do. No good getting a syrup, They look so silly, nearly as bad as combing your hair with a flannel. I have heard that bald men make the best lovers, so shave the rest of it off and make sure you do not get knocked down in the rush ;D

If  you really want a wig, I expect if you ask manic scouser he could send you a spare one

Don't worry about losing hair, it's not worth it. If you're desperate, replace it with some on your chin.

I don't have a problem being bald, and I do resemble Jean Luc vaguely ...

Sorry to hear of your mishap Ken, glad there was no worse damage :o Battle scars show a life well spent IMO. Bring on David Suchet and Jean-Luc (swoon) :)

My OH is a baldie, and always says it never worries him as he can't see it! ;D
And he looks so much sexier without his hair, well in my opinion anyway!

He does find though that raindrops on the pate irritate him, but wears a baseball cap to fix that and keep his head warm! ;D

So Ken, be bald n proud! :D

Several yera ago I made my boss's day ( probably year) by announcing that Jean Luc Picard was SEXY.   "but he's bald"  "yup and sexier than all the rest of the crew with hair put together"

Off boss skips with happy grin on face, so he didn't hear the caveat, "but of course although he's bald he doesn't look like some dodgy porn star Phil & have you thought about losing the moustache........."

OH is 35 & mostly bald & wears his shine with pride.
is it in the sale?

Dear Agony Aunties. Many thanks for your varied replies.

Don't worry about losing hair, it's not worth it. If you're desperate, replace it with some on your chin.

Already got a chin full, an' it does grow wild elsewhere.

Please don't panic, Ken. Wide partings are so fashionable these days. If ever you find you cannot cope without hair, please send for one of these.
Here is the latest toupe as worn by our house model Big Liz.

Ken, agree with everyone here, bald men are very sexy, so let nature take its course. Loved the cat wig though so cute! Aah!!  Only thing is when at the lottie don't forget to wear a hat or plenty of suncream.  :-* busy_lizzie
