A little retail therapy
« on: January 11, 2007, 10:37:08 »
Popped to the local nursery this morning after the school run - the after Christmas sale has virtually finished so they are restocking.  Came away with a bag of shallot sets, red baron onion sets, 15 pink fur apple seed spuds and 3 packets of nasturtium seeds and it only set me back a fiver!  I'm sure they didn't add it up right.  ;D

Still love your 'furry' potatoes, Emma!!

Ordered 2 jumpers - normally £20ish each - picked them up with a total bill of £19.95. Saw that they were marked down to £14.95 each. Even so.......??

Nice, local people - sad, but I just have to come clean, don't I!!

Stood my ground and came away with my bargain even though the very nice lady had to calculate on her fingers.  ::)

I got a witch hazel last weekend, should have been £15 but reduced to £5 as they'd lost the label with all the cultivation stuff on it! Now all I need is for the garden to dry out enough to plant it...

Cheers,
Rob ;)
