Topic: Has Spring sprung?

Follow the link to 3 photographs of my rockery taken earlier today.
It's about 6ft x 4ft, made of vertically placed slabs, filled with broken concrete,with around 3 inches of soil and a few "natural" rocks. There are tete a tetes, a heritage primrose, and some sedums and sempervivums. Not in flower yet, bottom right is a thrift. and the tall grass like things were supposed to be dwarf irises. Still working on the planting although it's now in its third year. Oh and a couple of dwarf conifers over the back.
It's on the southside of the garden, with nextdoors 6ft high fence towering over it, so it gets very little sunlight, especially this time of year.

really nice rockery , looks sheltered there, we have tete a tete daffs out in our garden but the ones on the plot, which is a bit exposed, are not open yet, I can't make it out  ;D

Looks like spring HAS sprung. Doesn't a bit of colour cheer you up?

The weather's turned mild, and there was quite a lot of growth beginning on the plot last weekend, so I think it probably has sprung. It's about time anyway; I haven't gone looking for girl thingy willow, but I'd expect willow blossom to be there for the bees by late March in an 'average' year.

I've just seen a tulip blooming..okay, it was by a wall but that's got to be a record ?  :)
