Balcony Progress
« on: June 05, 2004, 12:48:20 »
I am pleased with how everything is going on the balcony, thought I'd share a couple of photos.

The south-ish facing balcony with strawbs, toms, peppers, and chillis

The north-ish facing balcony with spuds, herbs, more toms, and marigolds and petunias.
Lottie-less until I can afford a house with it's own garden.

Brillo!
Might it not be a good thing, during the growing season - even if not beautiful - to cover the brick with 'Mylar'  - or even white card? Could make a huge difference? = Tim

That's what I call 'square foot gardening'.
Really nice and it all looks so very tidy. Great job.

I'm really impressed Moggle.  It's amazing how much you can cram into a small space with a bit of good organisation.  Well done :)
Happy gardening all...........Pat

It looks really great Moggle, I'm surprised some of your neighbours aren't attempting to follow your example when they see what can be achieved.

Thank you everyone for your nice comments.

It will probably look a bit different soon, as I'll be digging up the spuds and replacing them with French Beans. Won't look so jungley then.
