Flood damaged soil
« on: August 01, 2007, 20:34:23 »
When the waters have receeded, and the big tidy up is over.
Should i concetrate on getting the soil back into good condition,as i imagine everything will be truly packed down.
By the amount of dead worms f;oating the soil will need all the help i can give it!
Can you reccomend your favourite green manures to sow?
I hope im not being a bore on this subject but this is my first experience of flood damage in 4 years toil.
im stig (thats short for stig in the mud)

It'll soon recover, as soon as it dries out enough for the air to penetrate. Don't worry too much, but if it needed anything before, it still needs it now.
