Yes its one of those gadgets that actually do work - if you have a very sharp knife.
Most of the time my home-baked bread just ends up in big mouth-watering doorsteps though!

I use an electric knife or I wouldn't get a slice. I use a bread machine so bread is quite soft. Would an electric knide work with that gadget?

It would work, Rosy, but the slices would be of different thickness to that set because of the blade thickness.
Bionear - you have other types of knife??
