Step over apples
« on: January 29, 2008, 11:59:37 »
I have a little tree (m27 which i bought last year.  I have just moved the tree so i can train it as a step over apple tree.

I have planted it with plenty of compost, staked it and tied the lead branches from each side (about 1 meter each way) to a sturdy line about half a meter high.  I pruned the other small branches off.

Have i done this right?  If so , what do i do now?
