Tonybloke: I know those fleshy rosette-type succulents as 'hens & chickens' but I think they are known here as house-leeks, aren't they?  I'll try to post my smaller versions of these lovely little gems.  How lucky are you to live in a more temperate part of the country....gorgeous photos. Gives me hope.

Great photos Tony. How come those cactus can be grown outdoors, I have this type but grow them in my greenhouse. As you say, the flowers are amazing. Look forward to seeing photos of them.

they've been outdoors for 3 years now, snow and everything!! (southfacing)
