Does anyone have a spare hop plant they'd be willing to part with?  Or is it a bit late now?

I believe you've got to take a section of root (a bit like splitting the plant) so probably not a good idea.  Someone else has volunteered me some hop seeds which was very nice - thanks twoflower

I used to have a golden hop in my garden, which I purchased after seeing them grown up rustic wigwams in the herb garden at Hardwick Hall, they looked beautiful. However, mine was a blooming nuisance after a few months, it was extremely vigorous and went everywhere despite my efforts to hack it back and keep it under control! In the end I grubbed it out! Perhaps there are different varieties?
If it's not pouring with rain, I'm either in the garden or at the lottie! Probably still there in the rain as well TBH....🥴

This one doesn't seem to be too much of a thug. I'll have a go in the morning when i can get OH to move the big chair that's over it's roots. I've just had a look and their seems to be enough to do that, saddad, I'll let you know in the morning :)

Have hacked it this morning but don't know if i have hacked it too much. I've put it in a bag with some compost and perlite and if it doesn't die this week I'll send it to you :)

I really don't think that there's any chance of folks missing it. He even put a poster up at Wallsall Rd allotments yesterday. You should have given me a poster for our site Saddad. BTW. Thanks for the plants.
