strange markings on my french beans
« on: July 14, 2009, 12:10:27 »
Hi All

Please can you help?  I've just gone to pick my first lot of french beans only to find some odd grey lines all over them...!  it isn't dirt or slime or anything like that cos it doesn't wash off...  They seem to be all over the skin.  Almost like little veins or stretch marks..... very odd. Anyone know what they might be? They seem to be on 80% of my crop and I'm not sure if I should eat them or not....

Help

Thanks in advance
Sam x

The "veins" are on the beans? Do you know what variety?  :-\

Can't remember off the top of my head. I'll have a look tomorrow while I'm there.

Thanks
Sam
