Wahey !!!   ;D
Got to 7lb 9oz so far and this was the last of the mouldy ones. :(

Got 3 more still growing which are bigger and bug free.

So maybe I might just manage a ten pounder !!   ;D

Good grief!
Do you grow them for a competition, or just to beat your own record?  We have a 'heaviest onion' competition at the allotments but we've never had one anything like that!

Wow! It's a monster, well done! :D

I know taste isn't the primary motivator when growing these beasts, but what are your plans for the big guy? (e.g. Soup, curry, compost heap...)
