second hand gardening books
« on: February 27, 2010, 17:44:31 »
along with being a seedaholic i am also a bit obsessive about second hand gardening books, today I bought V.Sackville-west, Garden Book £2.99 and RHS Gardeners encyclopedia of plants and flowers for £3.99.  Charity shops are definitely worth a look for gardening books and Oxfam sometimes stock Thomas Etty seeds.

I always head for the book shelves in charity shops, ever hopeful that I will find a gem. None to date though. Well done you for finding some. ;D
Smile, it confuses people.

I picked up a Geoff Hamilton organic veg book recently.  What I am really looking for is a Geoffrey Smith vegetable book.  Got one of the flower ones.
