They are pretty whatever they are Tim, look sort of lilyish?

The leaves look like tulips to me... could it be a species tulip?  :-\

Yes, it does look like double form of tulip. There is quite a few about that are 'sports' from species and those are more delicate looking. In my bulbs book there is couple of very similar looking but much more yellowish coloured.
Did those come attached into bulbs or as cut flowers?
