We had our AGM at the end of last month and - in a moment of weakness - I allowed myself to be persuaded back on the committee as secretary. I've been so busy since then that I've barely had a moment for A4A! :o :o

I've just done the opposite, and resigned from the job. It's amazing how much free time I've got!

I bet they're glad they've someone efficient and on the ball in charge!

I have spent more time on sec duties in the last three weeks than I did last year..
Might have to jack it in next year.

I should have known better! I've been secretary for years but stood down last year to get more gardening time, however the person who took it on didn't really have the time for it and, in a way, I suppose it's quite flattering to be invited back. Anyway minutes, monthly meetings, plot inspections, rent collection, phone calls, letters, emails, newsletters ..... phew! At least the weather is so wet that I couldn't do anything outdoors anyway.
