No Volume
« on: November 09, 2012, 13:14:53 »
For some reason my computer has lost its volume.  When you go to the loundspeaker it comes up with "No audio output device is installed".  Have no idea how it was uninstalled.  Does anyone have any advice on how to recover it.  Thanks in advice.

assuming you've rebooted and the issue is still there you could try this I found while googling:

msg that "No Audio device was found" so I simply went into my Control Panel, switched to Classic View, and opened the Device Manager. Then I opened the Sound folder, clicked on the Realtek and told it to DISABLE, then ENABLE. Problem solved"

good luck
