And you deserve to show off, wow, they are whoppers! I'm going to grow parsnip this year for the first time, hope mine look that good.  :)

Let me know if your whopping great parsnips are tough or tender.  They look marvellous but I just wonder at that large size if they'll be tough or tender.  Let me know when you've cooked em  ;D  Ta

hmm, parsnip

i had the sweetest parsnip last weekend  - they were delish. even the husband gobbled them up - a self confessed parsnip snob!

when i peeled them, they smelled of ginger bread! no joke.

i hope my homegrown ones will be just like that :)
