Strawberry runners
« on: November 23, 2011, 09:09:59 »
Along with the frost, our new strawberry runners from T&M arrived yesterday. I've potted them on at home for now. The bed is ready, can we plant them out, with weed control under them, maybe put some old wood chip down for a bit of frost protection around the roots, or keep them in the polytunnel until next spring, bearing in mond our spring last year was freezing  :)

They are frost hardy but a bit of mulch around the pots won't harm...  :)
