This morning at 5-50 i woke up to hear a BLACKBIRD singing, is spring really around the corner at last. What a wonderful sound the birdsong is.
Has anyone else heard any yet?? .

Yes, ROsebud, my local Blackbird entertained me this afternoon and so did some other little warbler, but I didn't recognise the species :)

Yup Rosebud, in this little haven of Essex the blackbirds are doing it doing it doing it! The starlings in my garden keep chasing them away from the food, but the blackbirds keep coming back!

Yes Rosebud,
I hear the Blackbirds and robins each morning as I drag myself out of bed at 5.50 every morning to take the dog (mad boxer) down to the beach.
It is my favourite time of day...once I've woken up that is ;D
