We had several hours of rain this morning; enough to wet the ground under the thickest of trees outside. I haven't been to the plot yet; I've been sitting marking GCSE's. I hope we've seen the last of that chilly weather.

Well mine did fill, and then I emptied it again as I needed to water the plants in the conservatory and that used over half the butt!  Grey and windy now, but dry again.  More rain please Carol!  ;D

It's been perfect here, rained all morning and the sun shone all afternoon, same again tomorrow please

Now that I've composed myself after the giggling...

Chucked it down yesterday, so all my plans of getting out in the garden went out the window. (probably a good job as I wasn't feeling too well - bad hayfever attack I hope rather than a cold!)

My water butt has arrived, but we've still got to get and attach the guttering. It did fill up a bit, though. I still reckon it's going to chuck it down until my guttering is up and then stop raining for months!
