one of our beloved girls has been under the weather for several days, ive noticed today that she is off her food, but is drinking still, her comb is flopped over and she has a dirty bum and the runs, could anyone help the other two seem in fine health, we are really worried, thanks in advance for any replies. Sarah.

I'd take any animal with the runs to the vet, if it hadn't cleared up in a day or two. The dehydrate so quickly, and the smaller the animal the worse the effects.
Birds are terribly difficult to diagnose just from a description of symptoms, and it could be anything :(

I'd take the bird to the vet, to be on the safe side. Hope it's nothing serious......

How old is the poorly one?  These symptoms are often a sign that something else is wrong

If the other two are fine, it is unlikely to be anything contageous.  Could she have eaten anything to excess?  Greens will give them a messy bum if they eat too much.  It could be a coccidial infection if they are on shavings, this year is bad for it (are her feathers ruffled)?  How long ago since you wormed them?  If the diarrhoea is white it could be a bacterial infection which your vet can fix.  Green or yellow indicates an underlying problem which again your vet can diagnose.

Let me know how you get on or PM me and I will give you some alternatives (don't worry nothing terrible).

Either arrymicin or terrymicine  mixed with water keep the poorly 1 separated..
just out of curiosity is there a possability she could be eggbound......?? Could
also be if she has mite and pecking and ingesting gunk from her rear end
check her vent for lil things scurrying.
