After a very sad time that I've had recently, My little sis (Jo, 28) died of breast cancer >:( :( >:( :'(, I met one of her friends who was a fellow allotmenteer. She was really good to my sis taking her fresh stuff all the time from her allotment which I think was brill. She also gave me some good advice on a couple of things so I just wondered if she, like we had found the joy of allotments 4 all. Say hello if youre out there Lenny in Malvern/Worcester.

Hey Catherine, not Lenny, sorry. But couldn't pass this by without saying my heart goes out to you. Must have been awful and I can't imagine what you've been through. If I can help at all, just Yell, or PM. I'm sure if she's here, you'll soon know. Best wishes. Lottie

Catherine I am so sorry you have lost your sister to breast cancer.  It must have been a devastating time for you all.  Both my mother and sister had breast cancer, but thankfully survived it.  My sister had her cancer 10 years ago and is very well today, and I know how difficult it would have been for me if I had lost her, she is my best friend as well as my sister.  I hope you manage to trace Lenny, she sounds like a really good friend.  Love to you and your family and I am very sorry for your loss. busy_lizzie

Catherine, what can I say??
I lost my beloved Aunt/Godmother to breast cancer, another Aunt to it, other Aunt (there are a lot of us) had it and survived, and then went through it with my best friend who has no OH, so I was hers! (the reality of hearing from a Dr that she had to have her breast removed was almost unbearable) We have had a lot of tears and extraordinarily, laughter over the years. ( you gotta laugh or you cry)
I feel for you and what you have lost, and really do not know what to say .............except huge enormous hugs, and some of us have been there with you and understand, and if Lenny is looking................you are a wonderful person that made a difference.
We don't inherit the earth, we only borrow it from our children.

Catherine, very sad to hear of your loss.  Breast cancer is just so unfair.  I lost my best friend to it - she was 38 with a young son.

Hope you are able to track down Lenny soon.

Catherine - I just had to add my sincere condolences to you and your family on the sad loss of your little sis.   What a tragedy to lose her at such a young age.  Huge hugs to you and I do hope that you manage to track down Lenny soon :-*

Catherine, so sorry for your loss.  I've not personally had to deal with breast cancer in my family, but have taught many children who have been affected, so know at second hand how heart rending it is.  I hope that you find Lenny - she sounds like a great person.

Hi Catherine, sincerely hope you can get over this.  It won't be easy but time helps.  I too have lost both parents to cancer and it still hurts.  Lots of hugs to you and I really hope you can find Lenny.  ;) :) xxx
Enjoy today to the full.  You are not sure of a tomorrow.
