Not me you understand, but outside in the wilds of Essex!  Blimey it is blowing a gale.  My darling will be riding home in a minute on the bike!  This will shake all the leaves from the trees, and it does help me with pruning the weeping willow in the garden as it bashes all the dead twigs out!

Hope nobody suffers any damage in these gales.

Same here, EJ, in deepest, darkest Suffolk, is really blowing out there...Rain like I never saw, and howling round me gables, if you know what I mean....Lottie  ;D

Heldi

Raining here in Northumberland. Has been for a couple of hours now.

Had storm yesterday evening about tea time. Complete power failure. We were coping alright until my daughter decided she HAD to have a poo by candlelight.

wardy

It's been fine here today, a bit blustery but not too bad.  Not been to lotty though worse luck as had mountain of bedding to iron (yes, iron!  What a drag) Still, watched me Allotment DVD to help me through.  Did find time to go and buy some soft fruit bushes.  Last night was very windy during the night and my shed roof has taken a pounding and the rain has poured in. Even my boots were full of water  :'(  It's going to have to have a new roof
I came, I saw, I composted

Awww Wardy....Similar here, conservatory leaking...well call it conservatory, has enough room for one chair and a very small flower pot...... ;D ;)

is really windy here too in Bristol, i hate the wind and has been very mild all day but is getting really cold tonite , so will have to dig out the bed socks and a nice cup of hot choc before bed

lorna

We all seem to have a touch of wind ;D No rain so far and seems quite mild, have taken my cardigan off and turned off the central heating. Just went up garden and I think Lornas wind chimes and mine are having a competition, hope they don't keep the neighbours awake!!!!

Doris_Pinks

EJ stop eating the beans!  Terrible wind here :-X  and torrential rain, I wanna get outside and play...this in house doing housework is soooooooooooooo boring! :)
We don't inherit the earth, we only borrow it from our children.

Sorry to say folks but we seem to be the only part of the country that is escaping the strong wind a rain, but then this is Sunny Scunny ;D - hope nobody suffers any damage or flood!!!!!!!!!!! :(
If you don't make mistakes, you'll never make anything!

Seems not to be too bad here, but who knows eh?

Ha ha Heldi, I can just imagine your daughter doing dumpies by candlelight , that has got me giggling now !

Delilah

Are you trying to wind me up Redclanger  :D ;D

Mrs Ava

So let me get this straight....

Lottie's gables are rattling, Heldi's not got the power, Wardy's pounding iron, dibber has windy bristols, Lorna's chimes are rattling, DP wants to play, Delilahs scunny is sunny, Derek isn't bad and Redclanger's got the lot!

;D ;D ;) ;) ;D ;D

Derekthefox

I reckon that seems to sum it up EJ!!!

Derekthefox :D

Glyn

Suppose I don't count being miles away across the pond.
But, lovely and sunny here, sitting at 15 cel. ;D

lorna

EJ   That has just tickled me pink ;D When you put it like that has got to bring a smile to one and all!!!! I came in for a cuppa, forgot how early it gets dark now so no more graft until tomorrow.   Lorna
PS  Lorna's chimes are louder than mine but mine are better looking. I think maybe Charlie' nephew got them for me in Paignton Zoo (he works in the graphics dept)

Heldi

That tickled me too EJ!

Rain again today.  I had my haircut on Tuesday and I still don't really know what it's supposed to look like with all this wind and rain, no harmony hairspray swishes for me this week.

wardy

waahhahaa (etc) EJ   Very funny  ;D   Really cheered me up

Not got to plot today as howling gale and does so muss up my hair  ;D  Speaking of hair.  I was just stirring me spag bol as you do and my hair felt a bit itchy.  Felt  something wriggling in me wig and it was a ruddy gret fly of some kind.  I ran like an idiot outside trying to get it out and doing a bit of a strange sort of dance at the same time.  neighbour must think I'm barmy  :)   I had been out to shops so it must have got in then.  Ugh
I came, I saw, I composted

LOLOL!! Sorry, Wardy, but the picture you paint!! Hope you didn't tread on dog in the panic, and I'm sure the neighbours are used to you by now..... ;D ;)
Lottie

dibberxxx
