Just to let everyone know that Poly Cloches are starting to appear at Poundland in the next few days. ;D ;D

Not fantastically sturdy but at a quid a go...
Sheldon, Birmingham.  I've put the pin on Google Earth where my shed is, in the allotments.  It's in an area with a satellite photo which is cool!  You can't miss it, there's a bl**dy great big Airport next door!

Buy em and stick em on ebay, I saw one go for £16 last year :o ::) ;D

They are very good, I have two for my early lettuces. Poundland also do other polythene sheet goods, I picked up some 'tubes' which can be slipped over outdoor tomatoes, and tied at the the top to help suppress blight.

Make the most of today, because you'll never have it back again.

Two stores in Southammpton and no sign if the poly cloches.
So I am sitting here tomorrow with pliers and making my own hoops :P
and I am getting my wonderfully talented neighbour to run her sewing machine over some fleece and its a case of slip in the hoop, bend the other end and away I go.
I may even go to transalantic plastics and get clear poly, and make clear ones as well.
the wire is 6 mm galvanised and got given a reel of 250 Metres for nothing.
Probably last longer as well :P :P
so stop gloating  about poundland.......lol :P

p.s.  any one want cheap valetines crap,  poundland still selling theirs....lol.
Handy for next year, don't you think.......lmao
they say it wouldn't grow.....ha

I got ten over the weekend. It's a start, but I still want more. I can see them getting a lot of use in spring.

Curryandchips

Picked up two cloches, and also two sheets of fleece, 1.5m x 6m.

Still no clches in my local Poundland but they have now got the fleece in. At least they had, till I bought it this morning. ;D

Thanks for that.

Some turned up in Lidl today for £3.50 each, so I grabbed two of them. - Hastings

I have bought loads (16) of the LIDL ones, as they are great quality and size.  Afterwards went into poundstretcher  and saw theirs, but their are small and very flimsy in comparison (Oh and loads left in LIDL's when I left, so I didn't pinch them all  ::)

Bah, it annoys me that Poundland sold out of cloches so fast because people were buying loads just to resell on eBay. :(

But I'm happy because the Lidl ones look a lot sturdier, and my mum just bought me one as a present. :)

Just looked on the lidl site and none showing.
