Hi supersprout,  thanks for that, I am delighted with the neighbours I have so far, as a novice I can't believe the amount of help and advice and encouragement I've got from everybody here, on the upside of being the only one in this country think of the space I have to garden and no one to fight with!!! ;D ;D ;D
