So glad you're back rosebud and feeling so much better!
It must be niggling to feel overwhelming gratitude and to want to express it in a special way. A couple of years ago, a surgeon whose family enjoyed Dorothy L Sayers mysteries did a successful procedure with me. By way of thanks I bought her DLS talking book CDs so she and her family could listen to them in the car on their precious holiday time, and that seemed to go down well.
A successful procedure, and your health and recovery, will already have meant a great deal to your surgeon already. Take it steady! ;D ;D ;D

Haven't been around much for the last couple of days.  So glad to see you back Mary.  What would we do without our surgeons eh?  I too have alot to be grateful for over the years.   Take it easy and enjoy a bit of pampering ;D :)

Hi Lish, yes i am going along nicely thank you, bit tired today for some reason i think i must be coming down from the high i was on after my op, so i went back to bed after lunch for a while feel better now.  WHAT pampering?Lish  ;D.  Mary x
