Merry Tiller

Merry Tiller

fbgrifter

What an interesting thread.

My name comes from my favourite band called the grifters.  they had an album called' full blown possession' and i used to have an email address called full blown grifter.  however, people got the wrong idea behind its meaning so i shortened it to fbgrifter.

I like the name because i've noticed that people assume i'm a bloke...but my real name is natalie!
It'll be better next year

Wicker

Merry Tiller,
QuoteGuess
are you a happy ploughman  :-\ or could it be that your real name is Terry Miller  ???  Won't sleep now thinking of possibilities.............

Still loving this thread by the way.........

the_snail

Tell me and I,ll forget
Show me and I might remember
Involve me and I,ll understand

Going well - but there are still some who are so coy that they have only repeated their web name. Makes my listing very difficult!

Yes, Natalie - it worked with me, but it can sometimes backfire?

RSJK

Mines is the name I was born with, and still proud to use, but god help anyone my Mother here's call me Dick.
Richard       If it's not worth having I will have it

Wicker

Sorry, Tim - explanation already given for Wicker - but it's Megan here.  Ref theothermarg's post, the reason for Megan is because it's Welsh form of Margaret and my Nan thought there were too many Maggies in the family already!

Am I alone in wondering why 'undercarriage plan' hasn't posted here?

Geoff.

She and a few others left in January to set up their own site.

ACE

It was my nickname when I was a young ton up boy racing around the north circular on my BSA. Now it is the case of 'the older I get, the faster I was' My joke email is acegardener so they call me ace once again. I started on A4A as heritage (bike related again) but changed it to ACE, mind you it is not what my wife calls me!

euronerd

Ah OK, thanks Mike. So now I'll never know lol.

What site is that then. Might go and 'look them up'. then ask them about their screen names.

I was given my name by the Vicar's wife!!  I used to do huge floral displays for her in church  ;D

I would often be in the vicarage for coffee with my 'garden buddy' and whenever anyone called I would get introduced as "this is ..........  the flowerlady"!!

She's in Cornwall now I miss her heaps :'(
