I am excited.

I am so thrilled. My nephew in Kent has 2 sons, both have been roller skating champions. Round about 1990 they went to Germany for the world championships. They both met  Australian girls, later to become their wives so they now live in Aus.
Gawaine  now teaches skating but Galvin is in to web making and trying to break into the film industry
This past week Galvin has been in LA for the film festival, he made a short film. He wrote,produced.acted and directed. Yesterday his film won ...short film..foreign ..at the festival. Today he is in Beverley Hills where his film is entered for another festival. Needless to say my fingers are crossed for him.
Have just been speaking to his Mum and they are over the moon. I bet my 83year old sister is doing a little dance. ;D  I just wanted to tell somebody ;D

What was the film about L??

Adam Waiting for a tape of the film but apparently it is a Psychological thriller that introduces 3 characters and their bleak pasts and future. It is as stated a short film (10mins).

Thanks folk. My niece said Galvin is out there to sell himself....his talents not his body.!!!
His 2year old son keeps walking round the house saying Daddy, Nanny  over and over again. My nephew and niece have just returned from a 3 week visit so poor Carter keeps wondering where they have all gone!!

You really are such a nice crowd on A4A. Thank you for all your kind wishes. I haven't heard anymore today so doesn't look like he was a winner in Beverley Hills. I think the film is also entered in two more festivals, not sure where. Thanks again Lorna.
