My friend has offered me free bags of sheep dung and horse manure.  I know I can use horse manure but what about sheep dung?

Has anybody used this before?

ugly gourd

sheep dung makes brilliant liquid fertilizer put it in a Hessian sack and suspend from a stick across a water barrel and use to water anything. my granny used to swear by it

Ditto that. I used to spend hours collecting it to hang in a water butt. Best thing is to first scold it with a kettle of water to kill the buggies.

Do i make the fertiliser after it has rotted down or can i use it straight the way?

Just like horse and cow poo, sheep dung is mostly processed grass and other vegetable matter. Food for the garden !
The impossible is just a journey away ...
