yes valmarg you are so right  I'v started putting ultra precious seedlings
in hanging baskets in the greenhouse they havent found the way up there

One of life's imponderables, when you get slugs/snails in the greenhouse, and you have trays of cuttings/seedlings, how do they know that the cuttings/seedlings that you have least of,  and are trying to nurture and increase are the ones to attack?  You may have loads of one variety, but the one you are nurturing and trying to increase stocks is the one they find tastiest?

right-just before bed-i shall go on my nightly snail hunt-what?its normal for a portly middleaged woman in pj's to wander round the garden with a torch and a mallet-well,tis in lincolnshire anyway! ;)
