I rescued these from the boys school fete and am now wondering if they are viable.
If anybody could help with diagnosing and or suggesting what to do I would be really greatfull.

 ???

I rest my case about knowing very little...they look quite healthy compared to my miserable specimens!

A couple of them have got leaf miners, I'm not sure what caused the staining on the others. But if you plant them out, they'll probably romp away.

plant the courgettes into the soil - they wont be happy in pots - i know, i tried last year!
they look fine to me, and the colouring on the leaves looks just normal to me - my courgettes 'all green bush' have these silvery veins too.

the beans ?? look like they have some leaf miner, as robert says. remove the affected leaves - in the bin, not the compost! - and plant out. the yellow leaves at the bottom of the same plant? could just be a nutritional thing. give some feed when transplanting?

Well I have a squash plant with leaves like the courgette, I started off being a bit worried but the plant is growing really well and is strong so I figure it can't be that bad :-\

Svea

it's not, it's natural. like being blond/brunette/dark haired.
even within the same species. amazing! ;D
