I have just returned from a recording of Gardeners Question Time, due to be aired on Aug 20 and Sept 17.
The local allotment and gardeners association had arranged this ~ free!
It was so encouraging to see so many folk at the hall and would encourage any of you belonging to associations to apply for them to record in your local area.
It was recorded at a local school and there was even a young lad who belonged to the school gardening club with a question for the panel.
Anne Swithinbank, Bob Flowerdue and Chris Beardshaw were a delight.
There is an eform on the Gardeners Question Time website to apply....... go on go for it!
Raise the profile of your association...........

Chris Beardshaw.................swoon......................  ::)

Seriously, what a great thing to do.  We don't have an association, and I don't suppose they would host a GQT just for me.  However, great idea getting the school involved!

When I arranged a visit by the BBC gardeners question time ,we had to wait 10 years, maybe it is not so popular now and the waiting time is less. There is quite a fair amount of work to organize these events, we had to send all the questions in before hand and then find members to ask questions sent to us by the BBC.
