Perennial Osteospermums

This year I have grown a number of Osteospermums from seed and I have a variety of shades now.

I know that they generally don't keep over winter, but the white variety do.

Does that mean all the white ones, or are they a particular white one?

All depends where you are in the country, down here on the sunnysarfcoast I sometimes treat them as weeds as they just keep speading year after year. As they are described as generally not frost hardy cut them back before the frosts and cover them with straw. Cuttings are easy so put some in the cold frame  until the frosts are over.

I live in the East Midlands which always seems to be a degree or two colder than where you are.

I'll take your advice about cuttings and take the rest into my cold greenhouse over winter, covered in fleece or some such.
