read this seemingly innocuous mail...

big hello to all our members , young and old, new and regulars.

The purpose of this email is to ask for some help in solving a problem that has
been bugging this website since the beginning of the year, namely the restricted
or non-existant access for users of NTL and AOL in particular.

I have been emailing all parties constantly but can not get to the bottom of why
this should be happening to certain members.

Anyway I have, in desperation, started to use another webhost in the hope that
it will cure the problem. I have already installed the front page on the site -
(and only the front page so the hyperlinks will either not work or bounce you
back to the other webhost)

What I am hoping by sending out this newsletter is that some of the members who
are affected will read this and log onto the new site for me, to confirm whether
or not they can gain access.

I ask you to please help me with this even if you have no intention of
participating in the site again as I need to know within 30 days whether or not
to keep the new webhost and go through the pain of moving the site again.

The new site can be accessed via ..................I've deleted the rest

A forum I've never heard of!.....am I REALLY going to open the link? :o ;) ;D

Anyone else received it?

No, but I wouldn't. If you're OK with IT knowledge, hovering your cursor over the link should tell you where it's trying to send you, which might satisfy your curiosity?

I never fail to be amazed by the ingenuity of people to get visits, I delete all unwanted mail, my hotmail seems plagued by unsolicited stuff at the moment.
The impossible is just a journey away ...

I'm not at all OK with IT knowledge, Rosa,  but I'm very wary of viruses, etc. and there's NO WAY I'm THAT curious!  Makes a change from African gentlemen wanting to give me money, I suppose, tho...

There's hardly a day goes by when I don't get at least one Email trying to get my eBay or PAYPAL details. I just report them if I've got anyone to report them to, then send them to spam hell.
