  PEAPOD WINE

  Ingredients.
4 lb pea pods, 1 lb sultanas, 2 lb sugar, 2 tsp acid blend (5t/3m/2c), 1/2 spr grape tannin, 1tsp pectic enzyme, 1 VitB1 tablet, yeast nutrient, 1 tsp General purpose yeast
Method.
Remove all peas from pods, wash pods carefully, discarding any small peas, stem, or leaf, also damaged or rotten flesh, cut or mince pods, put in saucepan, with 8 pints water, boil, and simmer for 15 mins, or until tender. In meantime, wash and mince sultanas, in hot water to remove oil and debris, mince and put in bucket, with sugar. Now strain liquor fron pods, into bucket, allow to cool, add all other ingredients, stirring daily for 4/5 days, strain or siphon, into demijohn, fit airlock and ferment till finished, keep surplus liquor, in small bottle plugged with cotton wool, for topping up.
This wine should be light, crisp and ready for drinking , in 6 weeks

                     Happy shelling  ;D ;D
