New(ish) arrival

Hi All,

We now have a wonderful baby boy, Alex. He was born at 3:30am on 13th November, weighing 8lb12oz. He certainly took his time about it and needed a little help at the very end, but all of us are now getting on very well.

Apologies for the long absence before posting this - afraid our home internet died during that first week 'cos we're switching suppliers; needless to say I had various more pressing matters to attend to!

Thank you all for the congrat's.

Things are still going well, tho' a slightly more tricky couple of days - little one started getting lots of trapped wind, leading either to much grumbling or in some cases to, erm, kangaroo milk shall we say. Nice.  ::)  Much improved now having got some Infacol (as recommended by a number of friends), but have just been off for 2 days looking after him 'cos OH was really laid up with 'flu. Nice to spend so much time with him while he's so small  :) but terribly exhausting since previously we have been able to share rather than either of us doing EVERY change and feed :( :P
