Yes, I have grown hollow crown and tender and true. I think hollow crown gave the bigger roots, either way, they were gorgeous.

Incidentally, if you end up with a 'glut', try cutting them into quarter inch straws and deep frying until crispy - they are gorgeous, with or without salt and vinegar ... :D
