spray and grow

somebody down our plots recomended a product called spray and grow. to use on the veggies. apparently it is organic and works by helping the plant get the best out of the soil. i have had a look on the tinternet and the only place i can buy it from is a shopping channel called qvc. i have watched a video on it and thewy are claiming allsorts. does anyone know of the product and if so does it do what it says on the tin

 Yes it's me again! are we talking foliar feed here? Sounds like, supposed to be a usefull method where soil is below standard.  I wouldn't go paying an inflated price for this is probably not much different than miracle grow!  They are fast acting and can encourage alot of sappy growth which is susceptable to pests ect.

It's am American product, found this on their website...

Spray-N-Grow is a simple mix of micronutrients, cultured in a water base, that acts as a biocatalyst. A professor at a major agriculture university stated that Spray-N-Grow is a balanced system of micronutrients reacting synergistically...all components working together harmoniously that, in effect, perform as a single active ingredient.  Spray-N-Grow

Lots of customer comments raving about it, can't fathom what is so special about it compared to any other type of foliar feed though.. ???

Last time I looked, Miracle Grow was one of the few that specified the levels of Trace Elements. The fact they'd bothered to put it on the label was my main reason for buying it.

The quote from the site of Spray-n-grow would put me off buying it. They deliberately try to sound clever by using overly complex explanations, and their "professor" isn't even named. IMHO they have given a very complex (yet strangely lacking in any useful information) explanation of what foliar feeding Miracle Grow or something similar would do.

An unnamed 'professor' is a dead giveaway. The rest is BS; what's a micronutrient anyway? A sacrifice to the Great Goddess would do at least as well.
