Lovely lot of colour Tee.  What goes in once the daffs are over?

Up the left (next to the fence) is full of perennials such as Lillies, Lupins, Delphiniums, Alliums, Phlox etc. and these have already appeared but you can't see them for Daffodil leaves.

The shaped bed at the front is filled with annuals (thats them growing in the greenhouse)

A  bit of spring heaven, Tee Gee. Really lovely! Could you please tell me what the double-flowered blue (trailing?) one is - and is that amazing gentian-blue jobbie an aubretia?  :o What a stunning colour! My spring garden is a bit short on blue - I would love to get hold of those!

Not sure what ones you mean the 'bluish' ones as they appear are as follows;

Chionodoxa has a hint of blue

Sedum (Stonecrop) looks blue in the picture but is actually more grey to the naked eye.

Aubretia is the one hanging down the wall

Hyacinth these were forced bulbs that were put outdoors after flowering a few years ago.

Polyanthus

Muscari (Grape hyacinth) is the ones with the grassy looking leaves.

Thanks Tee Gee  :) The sedum (slide #4) was the one I thought I didn't know - (although I recognise it now that you've told me! :-[) - and the aubretia is just the most stunning shade of blue. Lovely flowers, lovely garden, lovely photos. Thanks again.

As a general rule ......Yes!

The only time they are ever moved is if I am dividing them or re-arranging the beds.

Each year I feed the bulbs with a general fertiliser as they come into bud.

This allows time for the plants to take it in before dying back.

if i chuck some chicken pellets (i literally have bucket loads) at them now, would that do ??

I don't know what stage your plants are at now, but I would say it can do no harm and probably some good!

mostly in bloom with some of the earlier ones going over now.  i'm not going to dig them up this year though, so i'll give them a good feed today.
