Advice needed re: Redcurrant bush

hello all

(long time no see)

i have these blisters on some, not all, of the redcurrant leaves. the bush seems to be doing wel otherwise - any idea what this is and whether i should get worried about it?

It looks like the problem currants get from the blister aphid. I have seen it but never had it on my own bushes so someone else will have to tell you what to spray with  but I am ptetty sure that's what it is. XX Jeannine

Just hand pick the affected leaves; watch out for ants 'farming' the aphids though, you will probably see some going up and down the stems. I've put some sticky bark paint over the stems of my bushes to stop them, apparently Vicks vapour rub works well too ;D....
If it's not pouring with rain, I'm either in the garden or at the lottie! Probably still there in the rain as well TBH....🥴

I have some blistered leaves on currants - there are aphids underneath. Haven't removed the leaves, but I might do now.
