Do you mean Okra?

I planted mine on the allotment a week ago, after being brought on in the greenhouse.
I supported them with pea sticks, as the wind is very strong at the moment.
They went a bit floppy, but new leaves quickly developed.

Oh you need to go to our Okra post. headed Okra off to a flying start, I think we all there ,it is funny and tells you a lot about the problems, see you there XX Jeannine

Oka is Oca and should not be confused with okra.

My pink Oca (Oxalis tuberosum) has also started to splay out but as I have no previous knowledge of growing the plant I am assuming this is acceptable. While my pink variety has grown quite tall and splayed without flowering, the red variety is still much smaller and remains upright but has started to flower.

Numerous new shoots are also emerging as much as 6" away from the original tuber so my advice to anyone growing these is to hand-weed only anywhere near the plants.

No Oca... a tuber forming root veg..

Not a great pic but that's them when they went in..
???

Where did you get them from?

saddad

Real Seeds catalogue... then I left them too long and they got very long sprouts on them, like chitting potatoes in the dark. Potted them on then planted them out..
;D
