I have mobility problems which makes getting around my allotment hard, but I really love being there. I managed to get hold of some small slabs & get them to my allotment but am not strong enough to lay them myself.

One of my friends on the allotment has secretly laid them for me as a nice wide path! (& added a few extra slabs he found somewhere).

I was so touched that I nearly cried. What a lovely unexpected xmas surprise.

As they say "You don't find Christmas under a tree"
A very merry Christmas to all the allotmenteers!
2012 - Snow in February, non-stop rain till July. Blight and rot are rife. Thieving voles cause strife. But first runner beans and lots of greens. Follow an English allotment in urban France: http://roos-and-camembert.blogspot.com
