I have bought some "weiner Runder Kholschwarzer" winter radish from Real seeds that apparently grow as big as turnips .Anyone else grown them and if so what are your thoughts ???

I've got some in the ground at the moment but haven't looked at them in a bit - I will report on Saturday if nobody's got here first!
For myself I am an optimist - it does not seem to be much use being anything else.

I use China Rose and Black Spanish..  you can grate the flesh to liven up salads or cube and boil like Swede, they loose the "heat" on cooking, great veg at this time of the year, wouldn't be without them.
;D

there are a number that get 'big' and i agree with saddad that the black spanish round is a super radish to have around now and certainly big enough - never grown the variety you mention though it translates as much the same - a large black round radish  ;D
