Two allotments in Baldock, overlooked by the railway line and the sewage works, but lovely and peacefull away from the traffic  ;D

In Hertford Herts at the moment, but have now given up the lottie as am moving soon to Suffolk. The soil was good and fertile but very free draining. I think where we are going to is teh same kind of river bed aluvial soil.

I'm in Markyate, north of St. Albans, which is (fortunately) just the right side of the border.

Bet you are fed up with the motorway widening up there, i am working up there installing the motorway communications at the moment.

Luckily I don't have to use it much, it's when the roads going over it were closed for new bridges that I struggled.

Mind you, I've aquired a fair bit of that orange netting stuff, so not all bad!!
