can I sow rhubard seeds straight into a cold greenhouse, or do they need to be germinated inside first. I have tried both ways and no luck either way, any help would be great

Yes please I don't seem to be having any luck with rhubard this year, my crown from last year only has one leaf at the mo and out of the 8 seeds I sowed not one came up.  HOw long do they usually take to germinate

I started mine in pots on the windowsill

Hi Caseylee.
Sow seeds in small pots of moist seed compost 1cm deep. Place in warmth 15-18 degrees centigrade. Grow on under cool, light conditions, but not in bright sun. Gradually accustom young plants to conditions for 2-3 weeks before planting out to their cropping postition in summer or autumn. Harvest next year.
Hope this helps ;D
