Having problems with some of my aubergine seedlings - all pricked out into the same compost but.....
Violetta - started to go droopy even before pricking out, but one OK
Calliope - bottom leaves going yellow
Black Beauty - healthy
Heritage variety - healthy
Billur - healthy
Is it a good idea to feed them, and with what (have never fed seedlings at this early stage)

There should be enough feed in the compost to last until they need potting up. I'm only growing Black beauty and they, like yours, are doing well, so can't help with the others I'm afraid.

They had probably been affected with a disease or physiological problem prior to pricking them out so I would not expect them to improve. I would get rid in case they contaminate the healthy ones.

Quite normal this if you are referring to the cotyledon leaves (seed leaves). These are superfluous to the plant once the true leaves form but I alays allow them to fall off on their own accord don't cut them off!!

This has been answered above but let me refer you to this page as it a large subject and this might give you a bit of an understanding of the process.http://tinyurl.com/2cwym3

Thank you both of you.
I think I will start some more Violetta  as I don't think they will survive. The yellow leaves on the Calliope are not the cotyledon ones  - they have long gone, but the next one up.
All very strange.
