what do westminster residents normally do for allotments?

We are looking for an allotment but we have none in our borough. Does anyone have any suggestions about where we might look? We are on the north boundary of Westminster, near bits of Camden, Brent, and not a million miles from Barnet either.

Hi
I do not know about your area,,,but is there any farmland around your area?
Could  you perhaps ask a lease for a plot..farmers always have unused bits around where they do not get with they tractors.
Could you perhaps get together a list of like minded people together and go to your local council and demand area for lotties...!!??

I'm pretty sure there are allotments in Camden but have never heard of any in Westminster.  There's no mention on the City of Westminster Council website, but perhaps it's worth contacting Westminster's Parks and Gardens Service.

ROFL  ;D ;D ;D  Sorry about that but Westminster in the centre of London!

Toffee I think the waiting list in Camden is dreadful but I do know of one Camden resident who got a plot in Brent last year.  Might be worth a try?
