Run out of space

My Tomatos are now taking up all my south facing window ledges.  Do you think my Chilli plants will grow on my North Facing ledges or am I going to have to have a re-think?

 I put half my chillies and half my toms on north facing windows they seem to do OK but do grow a little slower and ripen about 3 weeks later

I germinate them on a south facing window though and move them as i run out of space

Never thought of using north facing. Hee hee hee, my other half's going to kill me.

Chillies need more warmth, but I'd have thought toms would be OK for a bit. mine will be heading for the mini greenhouses shortly, as soon as I make some space for them. I just put the sweet corn in this afternoon, after moving some pots out.
