What colour leaves do Red Duke of York potatoes have?

From what I remember green, flowers vary ,but leaves tend to be green.(I think)

Stems can be a bit reddish... but leaves are a good solid green...

My Red Dukes have red tinged leaves. Lovely purpley colour, and it is not because of frost, as we have not had any recently.

where we planted the RDY, potato looking leaves are coming through but they are a reddish colour, not sure if I have mixed them up with something else!!!  OH did buy a lot of varieties!

Even Burgundy Red, which has red flesh all the way through, has green leaves although the immature leaves can be reddish..

Bit of both, I would say!

I had these last year - they came up purple initially and turned green as the plants got bigger - shame, I thought the purple was lovely!

Mine have come out a lovely purple colour, probably wont stay that colour, shame they are pretty.  :D

Thank you all, you have made me feel better.  Thought I had mixed some up or some dodgy weeds were coming through!!

Agree that it's a shame they turn to green cos they look lovely.
